Plant Token

Hello all,

Two quick items. Plant Token and NWI Comic-Con.

Plant Token

I decided to switch out the Plant Token for the Gold Token. I think more of you will have use of the Plant Token if the pack stays at 54 and save it for the potential 72. So, I just want to guarantee a Plant Token in the set. I hope that's cool with you all.

I painted this Japanese Camellia one winter day at the Chicago Conservatory with the local Plein Air Painters of Chicago. I hope you all dig it.

NWI Comic-Con

I'll be at the NWI Comic-Con this Saturday. If you're in the area stop by to get some cards signed, talk tokens and Magic. I'll have some of the novelty tokens with me to check out. Pick up some token singles of the old designs, alters, prints, and playmats too!

Hi Backers!

Unofficial survey is in!

The following are the Top 6.

• Wurm 
• Sapling
• Kobold
• Sliver 
• Thopter
• Elf Warrior

I'll keep you guys updated on sketches here. You'll get to see the process as I'll treat these similar to Magic assignments.

I mentioned in the last update the other 6 that we are getting close to. Less than 175 backers away. I have some tokens ready to go. So the next six could include some of the following:

• Citizen
• Plant
• Survivor
• Hippo

Or I can save these for the last stretch goal and fit in a few more popular ones from the list. We'll have to see the closer we get to both. 

I'd love to include many more tokens. I can do that if I hit the mega stretch goal. And I need your help to do that by sharing the campaign with your friends.

6 More Tokens

Hi Backers! 

This is pretty much the next stretch goal and subject of some news tomorrow. And I could use your help. 

Let's talk about the last 6 token slots to fill.

I wasn't sure how things would go to fill these slots. I thought I'd be filling them with the Design-a-Token rewards. That's not happening (yet?) so I want to switch things up a little. And this is only good news for you. I want to lock in the Token Types of the last 6 on the chart. This is where an unofficial survey comes in. I have a pretty good idea of what the last 6 might need to be but I wanted to hear your voices. Message me, email me, or comment what you'd like those 6 to be. The art will come after the campaign, but sketches will be posted as soon as possible.

While we're on the topic of 6 more tokens

We're less than 200 backers from the extra 6 token stretch goal. (60k or 500 backers) That goal is totally reachable. I do have some art for those ready to go if need be. (I have a Hippo Token I know some of you would love to have!) This is also where I will add the Design-a-Token rewards. 

That would bring the total cards you get to 62 tokens (if you're counting the squirrels on the two mini-prints, the second of which will undoubtedly unlock itself with the 200 backers needed) 

The box will still be 54 tokens, the extras will be packed as singles. Unless.... we reach the big daddy stretch goal of 72k for a 72 cards. I'll have the tuck box converted to fit all 72.

Hello Backers!

I have a ton of updates today. Things are moving along at an amazing pace here. I've added a few more tiers. We've unlocked another stretch goal and another token revealed. I have more news about the final six tokens in another update. 

Uncut Sheets Unlocked

I've added uncut sheets to the Add-On section and created a new mega tier for those that gotta have it all. It comes pretty much with one of everything.

Oh, maybe you noticed the Foil AP?

I've added a new tier for more sketch cards on the back of Foil Artist Proofs.

The prototype was produced yesterday. Some might not realize these tokens really are hand made. My studio assistant was helping me yesterday.

Two new reward options

Things have been going great! Thanks again everyone for all the support. We're inching our way to being able to add uncut sheets to the campaign. The design will be limited to 55 cards. They will be a $60 add-on and an $100 reward tier (paired up with a signed deck and a silicone token of your choice.)
